Free mental health therapy for youth "I Matter" becomes permanent
MIYO Health is Proud to Support Colorado's Permanent I Matter Program!
Great news for Colorado's youth mental health! The free I Matter program, providing up to six free therapy sessions with licensed therapists, has become permanent thanks to state lawmakers.
MIYO Health, formerly known as TeleTeachers, played a key role in developing the I Matter platform (iMattercolorado.org) to deliver accessible, online mental health services. Our contribution involved:
- Leveraging our existing platform, Mira: We used the core functionalities of Mira to build a custom solution that met the specific needs of the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health (OBH).
- Active virtual providers: MIYO Health's network of qualified therapists provided crucial support in delivering therapy sessions via the I Matter platform.
- Clinical expertise: We collaborated closely with OBH to ensure the platform offered a comprehensive clinical experience.
Here's why I Matter is a game-changer:
- Over 12,000 youth served since launch
- 47,000 therapy sessions delivered
- Flexible options: Telehealth or in-person sessions with our active virtual providers
- Addresses common concerns: Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and more
